Electrodes on Drivers Balls via Remote Control - POLL
« on: August 14, 2025, 01:06:07 PM »
I think it should be law, and this is not a joke because it is harness racing today that's the joke.

I think the person controlling the remote electric stimulation should have the same mind set as me - at least try you fucking cock suckers or scratch your fucking horse get another driver.

During the race, only on minor irritation, discomfort for those fucking around or have fucked around.

After the race, when the horse and others are safe, for those deserving driver's, a full 5 second blast on high!

What do you think - yay or ney?

Yay here.  ;D

I'm old enough to remember jockey Larry "Duracell" Saumell, based out of New York who "buzzed" his mounts. He was banned for life.  He did get back into racing, so much for the ban, and worked again in racing. But not as a jockey.

Didn't he also have a son Lazaro(Larry) who was a jockey on the NJ and PA circuits?
I'm not sure. Good question. I made a few nice scores on "Duracell" over the years. I think NYRA was as "shocked" as the fans were when his activity was realized.

He was your typical "journeyman" jockey competing against the top jocks in NY like  Angel Codero, Jr., Jorge Velazquez, Eddie "The Anchor" Maple, Braulio Basza, Jose Santos, Pat Day (aho went back and forth to the midwest), Chris Antley. I'm sorry he passed so young.

The Lazaro Samuel Jr I remember never rode in NY, mainly, NJ, PA, and MD. He retired for awhile then made a comeback but hasn't been seen for well over a decade.

Saffie Joseph implants remote buzzers in his thoroughbreds, thus explaining the re-breaks😂

The latest count:

2 Yays, 1 angry pigeon, 1 bat shit crazy pigeon agreeing with angry pigeon, 3 irrelevant posters that did bring some color to this thread :)

Normal day at Horseplop, ask a question and be directed to a maze on the dark side of the moon.  ;D

  • dougie: I know very little about him. But since I admire his goals, I admire the man. There'a alot of hate out there. But it's the horses that all should focus on. My friend Trigger tells me i'm naive about things. I am not. But I do believe that what he does overrides the petty nasty personal attacks we see so frequently.
