Is this a sign of who is the better horse or loyalty to Maryland?  Super Chapter owners have to be nervous as shit with Yannick up instead of Dex going for $1m.  If anyone can overdrive that horse it’s Yannick!

It was pretty obvious. Dexter was taking Maryland as soon as they announced Yannick as the other driver. Melander doesn’t use Yannick it was a Jeffrey Snyder decision. But saying that you can only hope.

   I’m going to predict exactly what I predicted last year even though it didn’t happen. Yannick will totally screw up the race. Not just for him but others as well. He won it last year BUT CAME DAMN CLOSE in putting his wheel into another steed. If they took the hopples off of Highland Kismet Yannick would still be 0 for the Hambo. I am no Yannick fan. I know he fires quite well BUT for some reason I just think he is one dimensional and this time of year he has horrible horrible luck.

today He chooses the 11, who won a PA sire stake in 57 flat last start

that is a competitive field of 2 yo filly trotters

Maryland is awesome, extremely tough races, definitely the definition of the bridesmaid.

This is what I think of Dexter Dunn's Hambo decisions though....
