have the figured out that detention barn in columbus yet?
« on: July 29, 2025, 12:50:20 PM »
how had perrin fared?> i see jd is driving some now. is that cause no one else wants to look stupid driving horses who have no gas? or maybe he was just trying to figure it out. proof is in the pudding young man. you are not so young now but you were when i knew you.

carter carved out a few decent checks but a lot of bad performances at the columbus oval.

these are just the guys who make it blatant that their horses will run off when ever they want. if they put others in detention the same would happen.

i think everyone should be in detention.

What I didn't understand was the jail so to speak was ONLY for overnight races . no detention for stakes or early closers...makes no sense... looks like Tatham still in detention last week end ... and some of the stables won multiple races the first racing card with no detention ...almost as many as they won when in detention.

Lorentzon should be on that list - her stuff has been going out of their skin in stakes races.

I think she just has better horses and is a good trainer.

Is Tatham the old mailman????  Detention barn will be like giving them brake fluid for him.  He can't race one without the TUBEEEEEEEEE

Not sure if they figured the detention barn out or how to measure a mile but State Fair tonight has times 3-4 seconds slower than they’ve been going the last month.  Much more in line with what you expect - Takter’s filly trots there is 53 and comes back in 56 tonight last quarter on 29.1 - similar with others

Track was slower, period.  Tatkers filly was in detention the night she trotted 53 and change.

Lots of rain here this last week and it's cooled way down. Feels like a fall day today.
