 In response to forecasted extreme heat, The Red Mile has announced an adjustment to its live racing schedule. Post time for live harness racing on Monday (July 28), Tuesday (July 29), and Wednesday (July 30), will move from the regularly scheduled 1:00 p.m. to a later start time of 5:05 p.m.

I first read, only SMART, came to mind.

Then I checked the weather for today and tomorrow, at from 1p-4p it's going to be as crazy as this sounds, 1- several degrees higher than 5p-8p (7/28 & 7/29, not 7/30).

I'm only the weather messenger, source Google - just type in Lexington, KY weather.

Just when I thought the inbred hicks in KY had half a brain!   ;D
