Thank You Thunderstorm!!!! Part 2
« on: July 26, 2025, 11:46:14 PM »
So some of you may remember a few months ago I was painting an exterior and a nasty storm rolled through, so I took a break and made a few wagers. I hit a massive Pick 5 at Finger Lakes for $2300 or $2400, thanks to the storm. Well tonight my wife and I took my niece to a Columbus Clippers game...AAA team for the Indians, sorry I'll always call them that. Anyway it started pouring down rain after the 3rd inning and it got nasty for about an hour and a half. So while we were waiting for the storm to pass I pull up my betting app and watched a few at the Meadowlands but didn't wager, to much chalk, so I fired in a Pick 5 at Charlestown, a track I rarely play, and hit it for $1552. I couldn't even watch the last leg because we were driving home, the game got suspended. A 13-1 shot came through in the last leg. So I guess the moral of the story is lightning can indeed strike twice!!! ;D

Great story Dougie, you're amazing bro!

Great score too and about 5% of that pool, one day you're going to sweep one, see a 5, 6 figure multi leg wager land in your account!

JT, I did like 11 races today, when I'm only doing 1 or 2 a day this week, I'm exhausted lol from racing, I knew it was you but being gone during the day, talking to Dougie, I erred.  My bad bro!

Lost to Papi and I'm now Sovereigntyplop for a week!

Love stories like these JT.
Fitting in a wager during 'down time'
Im no stranger to that myself, though YOUR exotic results far more fruitful.

Yes to Indians and Redskins season about to gather steam.
And about that Stanford Cardinal nonsense (not to mention their ridiculous 'ncaa conference re-alignment'

Thanks JC. I like your occasional long shots to play for 3rd or at the end of the exotics.

Until next time,
Good luck!

Yes they were for a very long time. They have been Cleveland's farm team for about 15 years now. The weird thing is that Columbus has the farm team for Cleveland in MLB and Cleveland has the farm team.. the Cleveland Monsters, for Columbus, the Blue Jackets, in the NHL.
