What action should be taken lack of effort last night 1st race did everything in his power not to be 2nd and the 4th race. Had everything opportunity to win the race just decided not to !!!! Watch races and then make your opinions!  Meadowlands

The drivel about "not trying" is a staple of the industry. Will never change.

This is why the sport needs more transparency if the Trainer or Driver would have provided a comment stating something like "looking for an easy trip to tighten up" then it solves that "not trying" problem.

Other sports do it:

Football meaningless end of season game... They announce before the game back up QB starting (resting regulars)
Baseball meaningless end of season game... bring up starting pitcher from AA or AAA
Basketball same thing they announce the will be reducing starter minutes
Hockey - backup goalie starts and sometimes key players are sat

See this pretty regularly with him.   It has become a common trend unfortunately.   "Failute to drive"  ..and $100 fine is bs .  They need to be slapped with higher fines and suspended days and the more they do it ..the more the fine and days . Period

This is part of the problem with a lot of things, misinformation from the misinformed. The 100 fine is not from driving a horse it’s from either showing up late and not driving or calling off. Not form driving.

Yes. Failure to drive is not being their in time and not calling forcing driver change

David miller could easily have been 2nd and definitely would have won 4th if he put some effort and not looked like a statue

You are wrong on both. When was the last time your drove in a race? I am sorry you lost your mind bets.

If you think for a minute that trainers dont say id rather be 5th so we can drop down next week or finish second and you can drive next week you know nothing  about racing or you are a liar.

Are you fucking retarded? Do you have any clue as to what you are watching? The horse was going right by then started interfering/very rough gaited.  He kept trying to right the ship and ask her to go but the thing wanted to fall down. Also why are we even having horses like this field race at the Meadowlands?

You do realize failure to drive means that didn't show up not that they didn't try with a horse

They have 0 clue about what they go on and on about on a daily basis
It's a great game, if you have the means to play

Dave Miller as young guy racing on the Grand Circuit he had to race against Campbell, Lachance, Brennan, Luc Oullette, Jack Moiseyev  & Pierce, in the prime of his career he they added Tetrick, Sears & Gingras, and at the end of his career He faces Mcarthy Brothers, Scotty Zeron and maybe on his way to the best ever Dexter Dunn. This man is a living legend and as great a driver he is he is great guy too.

He has over 25 Breeder Crown wins, 5 Little Brown Jugs and a Triple Crown with No Pan Intended.

Horse battled. I thought McCarthy blew it with Prince Hal when he was running over the horse in front of him on the turn. He had the best horse. I am sure Doc Moore would have felt better if he had of pulled first over and gone on by at top of the stretch.
