Red mile is the worst track a gambler can find. I love the breakage in KY but it is seriously outweighed by all the nonsense at that track. Makes perfect sense to me that the owners race there.

Word around Ake using Swedish blood builder and Gural turns blind eye to it. Out of competition testing done this week on many barns. Guess who didn’t get tested? Yes Ake! His horses turn from out of trot to monsters. Other trainers are pissed!!!

Not any professional ones. And how exactly do they know that the commission didn’t test Ake horses?  Were they hiding in the bushes on private property instead of taking care of their barn?

Ake might be as "clean" in the US as any other top trainer. It has been so long that I have not found all the Swedish articles published at the time.  I did read one where the allegedly quoted Ake as saying he did use an electric prod at one time but stopped using it because it was ineffective. I also remember seeing an article indicating he was not convicted based on technical issues not innocence. Again those articles were in Swedish and I have not been able to find them again.

He used it to TRAIN his horses.  It is attitudes like yours which helps PETA to get the industry shut down.
