Mohawk 7/7/25 Race 4, #9 CJ Desbi

This 9 horse in race 4 at Mohawk tonight, ran as good if not better qualifier than any of these, with Plante.

They send him to Georgian, from the rail Ryan gaps him intentionally, misses the gate, at 3/5 odds, and is held back from even trying, in the stretch the horse is looking to murder to be unleashed but the form doesn't show it, he was starting to fly for a few seconds.

Stiffed and didn't even make it look good!

Back with Plante today, 10-1 morning line, is this CJ Desbi getting sent, was this a set up all along for a Mohawk pool wagering pay day?!

Couldn't ask for a better effort.

153 and change leaving with these, and he bettered his qualifier by 4 seconds.

He was stiffed last week.

Just didn't work out, was outmatched and outmatch some others.

Will follow his progress, maybe see an off the pace move.

Not sure he would have won but easily could have been a spot or two closer. That Plante is sneaky-under-rated.

These Burke horses and some of these other monsters, I'm betting cold tris and sups.

Doesn't change a thing with my wagering strategy going forward.

Always seeking a several hundred % return so I could be wrong 60-70% at a factored rate.

In school a 30-40% is failing, not in racing.

Otherwise, what, bet $500 on 1/2's, 1000 on 1/5's not my style.
