Lou Pena
« on: June 30, 2025, 04:50:52 PM »
Belmont Major N (Anthony Napolitano) had won two of his last three starts against the top claiming handicap pacers at Pocono, but he still was dismissed at 9-1 in the Sunday $16,000 co-feature. But Anthony Napolitano (the leading driver on the card with four victories) did not let the outside post eight deter him, sending the Art Major gelding right to command and rolling on to fractions of :26.3, :55.2, and 1:22.4, then holding off the favored pocket sitter Lunar (Jack Pelling) by a half length in 1:50.1. Lou Pena conditions the razor-sharp pacer for Todd’s Auto.

are we really doing this again..im old enough to remember Real Joke going 47 and change and Oliver Cleo losing his hair

A trip down Lou’s memory lane!  He was unbeatable in his hay day!

Short answer is yes. There has been minimal improvement from the local racing authorities in enforcing the rulebook. Track operators are so afraid of not filling the box they look the other way.

Another pair of questionable characters that arrived on the scene in Ontario and quickly ascended to the top. When they cycle into form, 90% of the barn race out of their skin indicative of being treated with a pre-race that wasn't circulating through their collective veins in previous starts. Of course WEG would never consider throwing them in D barn.

Hasn't Hensley been doing well in Ontario for several years?

Has Pena been 'helping' all along?

Hensley was a journey his entire life. Now they by anything bred by anything and they improve everything. That's questionable  at best.

No one ever said or believed that, but it’s his name down.  So he is the face of it.  If you are so smart, enlighten us who the mastermind is.  So many on here know all the answers, yet give none.

Then post it again.  Wouldn’t it have been easier to type a name than all of that?
