What Fishman was doing was no different than what a drug cartel does minus the violence and that is manufacturing, selling and distributing illegal drugs. Plain and simple.
What Taylor is doing with Gural is saying "it's not EPO" because the drug dealer used mostly Fentanyl in it for the same effect. What everyone seems to overlook is the actual amount stolen. You can somewhat calculate purses...what you can't calculate is the money others put into their losing efforts due to the cheats. How about the millions lost by gamblers basing their wagering off program lines...not what was injected into the horse earlier that week. The actual amount can't be accurately measured. You also can't factor in the amount of people that have completely left the game due to going broke racing against the cheats or go fed up and left. But just keep giving the cheats a free pass Goots and his loser crew!
Just look at the forfeiture numbers. And those are being kind. You can't calculate people who worked hard and were ruined because they had no shot competing against these scumbags.
It is so true. I know so many owners and trainers that got out. Bernie Madoff got life for stealing billions. As far as I'm concerned, this was no different.

If you take a step back and actually think about it for a second, from a gambling standpoint, betting a race where it is unknown which horse(s) are being aided by PED's is theft, fraud and corruption all rolled into one.
