This crosses over into very questionable dealings with the thoroughbred side and also implicates The Meadowlands.
When voting on the matter Mr. Ford didn't get the results he wanted. Seems the matter was voted on "multiple" times until a favorable outcome was reached.

From SCM: About that cancer. I remember the first time, just so happens it was when the EPA came down on him. Only guy I know gained 150lbs while "on chemo".  Oh then they took out a kidney for no reason. Now he's being looked at by every commission and governing body in the game, has a "mini stroke".
