Are there any harness tracks that actually want you to wager on their product? I guess hoosier. That's it? That's the entire list?

When there is no accountability for the free money, why would they? Whether they handle 10 million or 10 dollars, the welfare is the same.
Now the question is, just how far do I want to go with this???

Have to be nuts to play Yonkers.  I watch for shits and giggles.  Watching the follow the leader shit .  That's so NOT racing in any way shape or form.  It's all corrupt bullshit with same drivers and trainers cheating.   Watch Bartlett and Gingras stiffing races regularly.  I don't know how these guys haven't been banned from racing.  Hopefully at some point they close that dump and put them all out of business!

Considering that every race card is like an intimate book club meeting - what can be expected?

how do you you 'stiff races regularly' and win 406 of 1,528 ?  That's 26% win rate

https://standardbredcanada.ca/news/6-11-25/yonkers-raceway-adjusts-starting-point-races.html

As the finish line has moved positions over the years at MGM Yonkers Raceway, so has the starting point of each race.

Somewhere along the line, it was decided to “quick start” the races well before the actual starting point to allow horses on the outside of the gate a better opportunity to leave for position. That practice was officially halted on June 5.

This was done in order to comply with United States Trotting Association's rule 16.05, and in the interest of consistency from track to track, races are now starting much closer to the finish line, which at Yonkers is just before the first turn. The USTA rule states: “The starting point will be appropriately marked a distance of not less than two hundred feet from the first turn. The starter shall give the word 'go' at the starting point.”

“Horses were racing at distances well over a mile for way too long, and it wasn’t fair to the public to list the races as one mile,” said Yonkers Raceway's Racing Secretary Joe Frasure, who was part of the conversation to make the change, along with the presiding judge and starter. “It is important for us to be consistent with the other tracks in the state and the country.”

As of last Tuesday evening the starting car is now opening a 100 feet later and closer to the finish line. Since Tuesday the 6 7 8 have been basically dead. If they try to leave they hit the turn right away and are dead. Yonkers has not released this info to the betting public. This was confirmed to me by 2 judges tonite. They said the racing secretary made the decision..I was told by 1 judge if I didn't like it I should not bet. Yonkers management is definitely looking to destroy racing at Yonkers.

I really don’t understand all this crying about I was told “if you don’t like it don’t bet”. Go to McDonald’s and tell them there burgers suck (they do) see if they cater to you. No business is going to change their “recipe “ over one uninformed deadbeat

Why did it take Yonkers a week to get the news out?
And why the shitty attitude towards patrons who called?
Why is that OK with you?

I struggled with the same questions for a long time. It makes no sense on the surface. Eventually I came to what I believe to be the certain answer. There is so much awful horrible shit going on behind the scenes thats needs to be covered up along with complete management incompetence that they would much rather tell you to just get the hell away from your business than address any questions or concerns

A good reason why they would flat out tell you to bet somewhere else and to stop asking questions about what they do and why they do it!
