Opening day at Dresden Raceway $100 Pick'Em contest
« on: May 24, 2025, 02:01:47 PM »
Here is a link to a concept I am working on to help "newbies" at the track and still be beneficial to veteran handicappers. You can check it out and post your thoughts (still working out a few kinks but you will get the idea).

https://www.insideharness.com/tracks/dresdensun.php

Also, enter the contest at that link to win $100 each week.

Paul was my science teacher and before my time but the old timers talk about how great "Walter Weese" was as a driver. They say he could have competed witht he best of the best but was afraid to fly!

Knew John..
Another harness fan.

I remember him with a line one day:
'This guy was so cheap he wouldn't pay to watch Jesus ride a bicycle backwards'.     What? Sure.

I used to head up there from Leamington early 80s Friday nights and Sun afts.  Those drives thru the local Kent County cornfields to get to the Little Saratoga.
Those Fri nights had some of the hottest Dresden blonde ticket sellers. Perfect job for those nice German background young ladies.
It made losing a little less painful. lol
