I just received a email from a person there ,sent me pictures but I do not know how to add them on here , the black hole in the first turn is now being dug up. It appears to be est 4 yds wide x 7 yards long, 2 1/2 yards deep.
If there was not a problem why did the excavate such a spot.

You should be able to add a picture via the attachments.
I dont have faith that it will be done correctly, and it should not have taken a tragedy for them to attempt at fixing it.

Meanwhile Mango had Security Guards notify everyone the track was closed Memorial Day, and if anyone looked at the track or took photos they would be removed and barred from Buffalo Raceway forever. I think they are worried that attorneys will soon be involved! They had a huge portion of the 1st turn tore up.

Reports out there that P.E.T.A. is going to do an investigation. Thats why Mango freaking out again. If the drug trainers can't kill the horses fast enough, certainly Mango and his track will.

Think there will be a change in PJ tomorrow? If not will anyone trust that guy now?
Now the question is, just how far do I want to go with this???

that track is on the grounds of the Erie Co. fair. I wonder if mango is overstepping his authority by limiting access  to photograph the work. I know he likes to use law Enforcment to push people around He did it to a friend of mine some years back that questioned a race.

Mango is threaten to cancel the meet if they don’t race. Im  not sure if that’s possible.. is it? Don’t you have to go thru the state ?

Seems like Magoo  is off the rails. Instead of addressing the track that’s a horse grave yard he thinks he can just stop racing. I saw in their program that he has his own track whipping rule to protect the horses, but no mention of the unsafe track. He went off the rails last year when he went after D. Monti but their association did not seem to care.

Jim Mango is a complete tool. NO ONE likes him, some put up with him. Accept maybe Agosti, He may just put up with his nonsense. Guy is trying to kill racing in our little niche. Rumor has it he likes to look at 14 year old girls, not sure if that's true or not, just what I was told. Either way, he's a bumb and a lunatic.

Buffalo brought in a guy that works the Meadowlands Track to do the repairs. NYSS told them fix the track or lose the sire stake races!

I guess rice's weren't too upset, they continue to race there.  They'll fix the track for stake races, but who cares about overnight horses to fix the track earlier.

RICE=JOSH MARKS

    If Josh Marks had any contact with Jack Rice his horses would be unbeatable!
