Eric, thanks for your letter. Yes, there’s been a lot of information posted and circulated on social media that you were representative by Mike Petrelli. Mr. Petrelli is not a member of the USTA, nor can he acquire a USTA license. Mr. Petrelli has been barred from the Meadowlands and the Goshen historic track.

Still not sure I believe he made up an entire conversation.  His stuff is usually somewhat legit, with his own personal spin at times.  But not flat out made up.  And I’m doubting that is Steve Jones actual response if any of this is true.

I don't know anything about the Taddeo aspect of this. However, I do now know about Steve Jones' email. As a trustee of the New York State Horse Breeding Development Fund, and one of the leading and most respected breeders in NY, Steve often communicates with breeders throughout NY. If you don't think Steve has been an ambassador and an advocate for NY breeders, you are simply mistaken.

So, Steve sent a passionate email. Someone-----we all know who-----took certain statements out of context, interpreted and portrayed them in a very negative light, and has criticized Steve. But that is nothing new. He's called Steve a horse killer, made all kinds of derogatory statements, comments, and claims about Steve. Call it whatever you want. If it's not completely obvious to you that this person has a personal vendetta against Steve, than I feel sorry for you.
