Aetos Kronos/Cutler
« on: May 13, 2025, 05:20:08 PM »
Aetos Kronos likely the best trotter in NA right now doesn’t make into the Cutler on the stupid money won rules. Best horses should be able to race regardless of how much money they made last year.

I was disappointed that Aetos Kronos S didn't get in, but it's not like this was one of the major races for aged trotters. It's still early, but we're getting there. I guess it didn't matter because Melander had Periculum and boy did he put on a show, and without even trying. He trained back like a monster this winter. If the Cutler is a sign of what's to come, then he'll have no problem going with anyone this year. I guess we'll soon see. LOL. Aetos Kronos S is still a bit of an X factor kind of horse. All these trotters, like Antognoni S, who turned out to be a bit of a surprise, are going to have to step up when the big dances come. There's some more out there, but again we'll soon see what this class looks like.

The older mare trotters should be interesting this year too. Some of the better three year olds have come back and Ake has some new aged ones come in from overseas. The Miss Versatility on Saturday will be worth a watch.

She qualified last Saturday at Meadowlands for the 1st time this year, but Ake never runs his horses that often, plus he already has 3 of his other mares in the Miss Versatility trot this Saturday at Meadowlands, including Nelsonbriteagle who may be his best one of the bunch.

IMHO
Would anyone be taken seriously, if they posted pace or trot on the Tbred side?
