He might push it another 2 yrs if he appeals it to the Supreme Court which is with in his right. He could drag it out long enough till they finish get decoupling all over the country. Pandora’s Box has been open, genie’s out of the bottle, started in FLA

This case is emblematic of what's wrong with the sport and why it will eventually contract to the point where it isn't covered or watched by the vast majority. I'm all for due process but to let a guy game the system and continue to race for two years is beyond negligent. This case should've been adjudicated within six months. And anyone that thinks Per hasn't taken an edge on the pre-race front is an idiot. Yes he gets Jason and half the time he gets to boat fractions but there is no way, and never has been, a way in which a guy can touch that many horses and put up those numbers.

AgentQ you are right. You wonder how Jason gets tied up with all these super pre-race trainers. It's questionable does he have the knowledge or is he helping them? The problem is nothing is done about it, he will just get a beard to list as a trainer and keep on going.

Any chance Per and John/Matt Bax used the same lawyer lol

I was told he must be given time to appeal to the next level if he chooses to do so.

If I were Jersey I would say "appeal and we automatically double it"  NO horse trainer to my knowledge has ever won any case when appealing to Supreme Court.

  • Calhoun: Thx I'm leaning to the 5 there.  Those CD/GP full field races look the best on the page. 1/2 length from being a G3 winner.
