Do you think he shit himself when the horse he was drive leaped over something? Not sure if he pulled up but the camera never showed him finishing.

I gasped as well. It's gotta be hard for these guys to get back into it. Especially the guys who were in the wreck. That's why I think someone should of had some professional people these guys could talk to. Not sure he even walked out for the walk northfield had.  It can't be easy.  And the guys at the meadows it will be a whole week til they sit behind one again. Very unfortunate situation all around.

Drivers today are very close. They do everything together. It's not like it use to be where everyone hated each other.

Didn't notice him in the walk either. What gives with that? Rough start for him tonight. Thought the first one was going down... Hunters wreck and unfortunate ending really puts life into perspective and changes the love of the game that I had.  I understand same thing can happen driving a car down the road. I get it.  Just a huge loss

I didn't see him out there either. It cannot be easy for any of them, especially those involved in the accident Wednesday.
Idk how many of them would utilize a Grief Counselor, but one should be available should they choose to.

It definitely is a huge loss.

I agree. I don't know if any would utilize it. But they should be available.  Shame on the usta for not providing that option.

yes, they had a grief counselor at the Meadows.  Aaron was in the walkover at Northfield tonight-saw him in person and he pulled up after the half in the first race.  Not sure what was happening with the horse he was driving but it's a good thing he kept it away from the rest of the field.

Northfield drivers are proving tonight how tough they are. If there is any fear they aren't showing it. Race 12 trot tonight was a great race. Drivers all trying 3 and 4 wide in close quarters on a wet track.

Tough as nails, each one of them.

Thanks for the great racing. I would say be careful out there but that is not in their nature as they can be so competitive,

Just like an automobile, if you're going to drive scared then you shouldn't be driving. Unfortunately fatal accidents happen on the highways and in rare occurrences on the track, but life goes on.

Why is it the USTA's responsibility? If the track itself wants to have it, that's fine.

Most drivers are married with families, so other than travelling together on the same plane to a racetrack don't do anything together.
