My guess is they would beg us to help but as I said, from what I hear coming out of Trumps speeches he would say f u Canada because I like Putin better.  I have no links to offer but I'm guessing you can google where Trump called Zelensky a dictator even though he was democratically elected but seems to praise Putin who murders any serious opposition & by any serious definition is a dictator.

No real changes anticipated here. Well, maybe I'll switch from Subway to Canadian owned Mr Sub but that's about it. The hay crop that I send to Florida each year will cost the horsemen 25% more and that's sad. Did you know that Quebec supplies 60% of the US aluminum? Certainly glad I already own my faithful Ford truck and 3 horse slant trailer. I'm pro US but this is not good for either side.

You really need to quit listening to mainstream media and think for yourself. Do you really believe that Trump would let Russia take over Canada? The 3 countries he would like to acquire are all for strategic reasons. I know history is lost too most, but that is how the current world was formed. Every country in existence today has taken over or purchased land from someone else.
