25% tariff on Canadian horses
« on: March 04, 2025, 03:28:30 PM »
As this trade war escalates, all foreign horses (livestock) purchased will also be taxed on both sides of the border.. London Sale, Std Canada, Preferred Equine, On Gait, Harrisburg and Lexington beware of incoming regulations and less buyers..

Oh and if you are Canadian and bought a horse at a major sale and shipped straight up you would have had to pay duty on the purchase price. For only the last 50 years

Never paid duty once, bought 100 over time.. only 13% sales tax.!!
Also, careful who u call stupid, it'll be checked carefully, import/export will be regulated and watched heavily.. game changer.!!

Like I said, it's 5% now, but if things escalate it'll be upped to 25%, like everything else.!!
King Haku, I'm Canadian, I like most things Trump, our PM is a fraud, go fuck yourself, thanx for playing along, nobody likes Trade wars, it's bad for all of us.!!
