What's the deal with Gingras not driving at Meadowlands?
« on: March 03, 2025, 08:08:45 PM »
I've noticed he drives at Yonkers but hasn't been driving at the big M.  There has to be a reason.  Would love to know the scoop.  I don't like him. He's overrated.  IMO ..looks like the jackass that gets in bar fights regularly

Last year he also drove at Yonkers during the winter and started driving regularly at Meadowlands after the Borgata Series at Yonkers in late April. He's driven a handful of times at Meadowlands this winter, mainly just Burke's horses. There's no money to made at Meadowlands in the winter so why drive there at all.

Yonkers corrupted the guy.  I liked him before he went there to drive FT.  He hasn't been the same since.

What makes you think he's corrupt? You may not like him, but he just won 14 million dollars in purses last year, so he can't be that bad.

The horse population is weak. The cards suck! He's driving full time at yonkers. Have to have some time for the family!

When the Meadowlands Championship Meet starts Yannick will be back driving there. Gural has made it clear to the regular drivers that other than stake races, if you want to drive at the Meadowlands you will need to show up for the start of the so called Championship Meet. Not sure what date is considered the start of the Championship Meet?

All the drivers are back when the Borgata series at Yonkers ends in late April if not sooner. Todd McCarthy is listed on a few this Saturday at Meadowlands.
