Mohawk Saturday
« on: February 08, 2025, 03:04:27 PM »
Race#2-#5 NO CONTROL 7-2 ML Too far back last week, another short field, like him the best in the compact competitive field.

Race#3-6 SETTHEWORLDONFIRE 5-2 ML Big mile st Flamboro, big third quarter, that speed translates here, tepid bunch.

Race#5-#5 WRITE ABOUT NOW 10-1 ML ***LONGSHOT*** Big year last year & a big barn change tonight. Picks up Cullen as well, watch the tote board on this guy in here.

Race#7-#7 THE GREEK FREAK 5-1 Should be pressed off the wings in here, another competitive field. Much prefer this guy off a pocket trip then on front.

Race#11-#3 DREAMFAIR ARNIE B 4-1 ML Liked him last start, did absolutely nothing. Back for another kick at the can tonight, needs to be put in position earlier in the mile, odds will elevate from last week.

Best of luck!  tmbz1

Race #3  #3 ABOVEMYPAYGRADE  Fourth choice in morning line.  Like him a LOT more than probable chalk (#6) who is a fade for me.

Race#10  #7 HOLLYWOOD DEO  Sharp and classy.  Draws talented Borth with his last two drivers at the awards gala.  Only needs to avoid an extremely taxing journey or bad luck to return to victory lane.

Race #11 #9 BOOMING ECONOMY  Needed last.  Speed to contend IF connections deem him fit enough.  If they duck him, tab for next week.

Go get 'em, men!  tmbz1

I was wondering why. I don't see any major cards elsewhere...

Tonight are the O'brien Awards in Canada so James and Roy are there. Jody's father Carl is a finalist for an award for horsemanship, so maybe Jody is leaving early to be there.
