Race#5-#6 NO FOOL MACKINLEY 6-1 ML First start at Flammy was decent despite being off a month, last week not great. Short field going tonight, six deep looking for Coulter to spring the upset.

Race#9-#3 P L QUICKSAND 3-1 ML third start off the claim, expect a big effort tonight. Broke first start Boyd , nowhere to go last week, fully expect JR to try and bust the wings although personally , I hate the 3 hole on half miler.

Race#11-#4 GYPSY MERLOT 4-1 Debuts for a new barn tonight, adds lasix and the driver will get any hole he desires in here. Stable change might be enough to get the best of this putrid field.

Pick 5
1,5/2,3,4,5/4,5,6/1,2,3,5,6,7/6

Best of luck!  tmbz1

About 125gs cdn net in that pk5 pool tonight.

If u get chance later, watch slo mo replay stretch drive, Colin Kelly pull back or "lift' railhorse #1 head at wire to get caught by surging Brett MacDonald #5.

It's an art..and has gone on since harness racing's evolution.

It's ok SAW had like many, like myself, at 3-1.

Good luck rest of card

King of the Ontario B track price Travis Henry at 19-1 in the third blows up pk5 ticket.      He's no stranger to bombing, but often has prob delivering 9&5

B Track drivers got no brains Thiessen pulls off rail and allows Henry to slip up inside. Can't drive a spike through a snowbank.

Exactly JCT , played $20 exactor All-6

Gypsy Merlot went off at 7-1 in the finale, however I can honestly say this is the first time in a long time I made a decent profit for the night & still feel like I got booted by a horse .......

OUCH

  • MTP1972: Back at Garden State Harness I hit an $11,000 trifecta for a $1 on a horse, Speedy Wright, driven by Mark Kesmodel paid $11 to win. The exacta paid $60 but a real bomb finished 3rd. Unforunately at that time if your winnings were over $5000 they automatically took out 28% + another 3% for NJ State Tax leaving me with only $3800 from a $5500 ticket.

  • Trigger: On 9/14/91 Yonkers Race 6 I bet a pick 4, put $80 in.  I used like 6 in the first leg, like a perceived dummy as 1/5 shot won.  I hit it and it paid @$9k.  The storyis in the trivia thread here.  Not my biggest score ever, but craziest for sure.

  • MTP1972: I have alot of strategies and theories on multi-race wager s but rarely play them because I hate investing alot and getting knocked out in the 1st leg. I used to play alot of Pick 3's at Meadowlands years ago by beating a heavy favorite in the 1st leg.

  • Trigger: We could take down a track if we worked together, otherwise that's out.  My biggest issue last yr was virtual stable laziness.  You leave a horse like Meshuggah in becaus his drives were fucked.  But I left too many in and didn't refresh that much once built.

  • MTP1972: I see so many of these so called experts on FanDuel posting their Pick 5 tickets including several odds on favorites and a bunch of 2nd and 3rd choices. In my opinion, they're just wasting space or bragging when hit a $150 Pick5 in a $60 ticket.

  • MTP1972: In any Pick 4 or Pick 5, if there's a heavy favorite in the 1st leg you think is beatable that's what I'm looking for. I can't see singling a 1-5 in the 1st leg because eveybody is alive. I'm looking to beat that horse if I can.

  • Trigger: Your spec I get it.  They bet a billion and happy with a $60 mil profit.  Win / lose and rebate.  Once the jockeys, drivers trainers are corrupted we might as well see who could spit the furthest to bet on.
