Finished their season.
« on: January 25, 2025, 02:31:26 PM »
Last card for season in Maritimes today.
Watched a couple of races from Redshores on PEI.
Two drivers that were suspended and had sentence cut in half
both had decent days.
First guy suspended and cried enough they cut it in half.
So the other shed a few tears so after letting one off easy
that left no choice but to cut the other suspension in half.
Also noticed the leading driver slashing and banging and laying
straight back in bike.
A young driver suspended there last year for the same thing.
I guess it depends on who you are.
No wonder this business will never be cleaned up.

Doesn't seem like anything to whine about, do you realize how much worse other places are/we're.

That's nothing (leaning back in bike etc) & all very tame when you've raced horses @ 7+ locales, you do see some fcked sh1t.

People don't realize how good the horseman have it @ Red Shores
Hence why so many of us go back each year for O.H.W

It's all supposed to be fun anyways

Always love to watch my horses race;
We don't need to race, it's the camaraderie & the bond with the horses that makes it special.
Kentucky:
3 y.o colt wins his first start of year
 3 y.o filly had a tough trip 3rd place

Whine.
Just apply the rules fairly and as they are written
or let everything go.
Supposed to be FUN.
That must be the way the judges look at it.
Let’s all have fun.

Spend a few years @ Yonkers & I guess it makes you numb to everything that doesn't concern me
