Joe Bongiorno - Second race at Big M
« on: January 11, 2025, 06:59:34 PM »
Just watched Joe drive an even no money shot and finish dead last.  He also trains the horse and the horse got swallowed up in the stretch.

Nice drive by Joe in Race 5, Was picked to come in sixth but didn't let it faze him. Would have been buried if he didn't rocket out as he usually does any way. Good drive.

He really doesn't have much talent. Nothing in the vein. Nothing in the lane. That's the golden rule.

Totally disagree about Joe. Yes he’s aggressive for sure but he does have talent and one always gets their moneys worth on the vast majority of his drives.
To me it seems that he works his ass off and results speak for themselves.

Fading this barn has been very profitable the last few weeks

Similar to fading Erv in the fall at Hoosier after the spring steroids taper off

Barn hasn’t been the same since the Hall of Famer Jenn quit the business.

when you say get your moneys worth do you mean jumping around like an epileptic in the bike. and horse getting carved like a thanksgiving turkey?  is that what you mean?

Glad someone said it. It is asinine the amount of leaping around like a monkey he does in the bike. There is no way all that rocking around actually helps a horse move forward.

Just another hack trying to be something. Maybe him and Sears can watch replays together while sharing popcorn when Sears was driving.  Never once did Sears act that way in a bike nor does any of the other big time drivers.

That’s his style nothing wrong with that in my view.
Larry Bird and MJ had different styles but both were still great.
