Im not a gambler-so im ignorant of how CAW and ADW work--but Ive always wondered why Meadowlands handles so much and places like Yonkers,Chester, Pocono-very low.
They all offer rebates correct??
Somehow-it seems to be very profitable for them at the Meadowlands--but not anywhere else.

My guess is there is too much cheating at Jonkers and the computers can’t figure out who go the the envelope.

Gural gives Elite a bigger rebate than other tracks

he is basically giving away his signal to make his handle look better for those who still believe he isn't doing that

He also gets his lapdog Settlemoir to print the same BS article almost every week about how great the handle is even though he knows where alot of it comes from.

The state subsidy deal was always dependent on proving it increases handle. It's all smoke and mirrors. Until Jessica Otten opened the bag a bit to us

He's making sure get maintains the 5mil from the state. This whole situation is very very bad

My guess is that the pools are just too small to expend time and resources.

Quit making stuff up!!!

Like it or not CAWs and/or rebates have been around longer than the state subsidies. They have nothing to do with artificially increasing handle.

Your argument is smoke and mirrors.

they should close betting 1 minute before the race goes off. that would fix gate calling 3000 tickets in the last second or even 11 seconds into the race.

They'll never admit it, but tracks don't really care if there's a few second gate call because it helps their handle.

Look at Monticello. They let Andrew H fix races there his entire life and they benefited with his huge handle. They gave him a desk, 3 tv monitors and a private teller to make sure he got all of his plays in.

Like I said "CAWs and/or rebates have been around longer than the state subsidies." He insinuated CAWS are meant to increase handle to keep the subsidies. That is blantly FALSE. I belive they started in 2019.

People on PLOP have been complaining about CAWS/Rebates since this article came out in 2013.

We can talk about FACTS, not half the CRAP on here that is just made-up.

NO head in the sand..

  • Ignorance Is Bliss: Calhoun is desperate. First his 15 year lie was busted. Now he says I hid behind a 75 year old man to take the hit? Interesting. There's actually a Livestream out there I did from home minutes after two cowards attacked Yarock over me. Calhoun also thinks Mr. Ed could speak.

  • dougie: I will make another point if I may. There are multiple horse owners in this group. LUCPARK, rainman2, and so many others. many here are very successful owning horses. I and my partners were not. But I can't believe people who do well in the game and folks like me who didn't cant agree that the horses should be treated humanely. The history of Mike P. might be interesting to people. And folks on Plop might dislike him for a myriad of reasons. I know nothing about him but his advocacy. I think I can seperate the misdeeds everyone talks about from his desire to help these horses.

  • dougie: Calhoun, I am not surprised at anyone who doesn't share my opinion. Everyone has the right to their own point of view. As for whatever acts you mentioned=Ed that he might have committed, it should not draw away from his horses advocacy. Many folks have done lots of things wrong. But despite that, should the good things they do be li=jumped into their misdeeds? Is a person to be judgedf on their worst day or instinct? Like I mentioned before, I don't know of the man. But I have studied up on him. I cannot answer for the things you and others seem to know about him as a human being. But I will continue to support his efforts to make the treatment of horses more humane.
