We are flying out Thursday to meet with Howard finally to discuss the upcoming auction as well as look at the farming and track equipment. Looking at the handle out there it was pretty much non existent

Sounds like they were begging a private investor to save the place short term but wants an option to develop the property as well . Doesn’t sound promising to save it . See you all on the East Thursday.

  • Kirby's Ace: We have an update following the accident at Eldorado Scioto Downs on Friday (May 8th): Five drivers were injured. All the horses involved in the accident are OK. Kayne Kauffman suffered a fractured heel. Aaron Merriman suffered five broken ribs, a shattered scapula, and a partially collapsed lung. He is being kept in the hospital for further observation. We will update the status of the drivers' conditions as we know more. We wish everyone involved a speedy recovery.
