AGCO  is as corrupt as any other government agency.
They wait until Sylvain retires to ban him lmfao.
Absolutely no punishment for Fillion as he is no longer in the business.
But hey, let's make it look like we ruined 2 people's lives, when really, we are just punishing Moreau.

At the very least, claw back all his driving income from the date of the positive.

From the article...

"Filion is found to also have been acting as a trainer of the horse." ---- now that is interesting. Not Yves, but Sylvain. Sounds like Sylvain was a visitor to the farm, sat behind the horse, or whatever. Crystal clear however.

Maybe the adopted kid sob story can get a year or 2 knocked off?

everyone has their own opinion nd that is fair
i do not know the man and will not comment on him
however do not think the funtime bayama saga is over
i have no idea how much involvement the filions had in his training/suspension
but there is a connection there
weg/standardbred canada etc needs to show action, moreau obviously
they just elected sylvan filion to the hall of fame, do you think that within a year they wanted to suspend him if warranted
if they found cause/involvement they might have suggested he go away for a while
i am sure filion has wanted to go back to quebec, the funtime bayama circumstances might have moved that time up a little
who knows

The obvious answer - more times than not - is the right one.  In this case it would seem obvious that they let him know the suspension was coming and he wanted to go out his own way.  I would also say that they must have Sylvain dead nuts because it would seem easy for Yves to take the fall and let Sylvain continue to drive.

The only way this stuff gets cleaned up is for the governing bodies to continue to bring the hammer regardless or who is involved.

hard to imagine but almost looks like in this case that moreau was  the more innocent one
interested to see what this does to the sale of funtime bayama, i expect a quite resolution and some cash going back the other way

Nothing innocent about shadow training
Especially if you’re getting a cut

I think Yves may be the one getting off scot-free here, he's probably trained the horse alot more than Sylvain has.
