My longshot pick for BC!

ACE 8 - Meadowlands - NJ - October 26, 2024
Conditions: BREEDERS CROWN - FINAL Open Pace
Gait: Pace  Purse: 600,000  Class: Br Crown F  Distance: 1 Mile

Voukefalas   L    15     4     3     2     1:47.3M     $295536     Jordan Stratton    Michael Russo   10-1

Good draw on his home track, the meadowlands!  IMO, last week's drive was very conservative just to get into the final.  Should be a more aggressive drive for sure!  Whether he gets the job, done, we'll find out tomorrow night.  Plenty of value based on the morning line in exotics too!

love this horse...definitel y needed the race last week. All about whether Stratton can give him positioning but that is going to be difficult and whether Ruthless and Bythemissal get locked in a speed duel. Might actually see a decent price on Ruthless tonight. Where does Abucketbett fit in. To me its the race of the night and I dont think Bythemissal just gets a cakewalk to the lead without major pressure either trying to clear Ruthless or from Abuckettbett at the 3/4s

I like him to but Stratton worries me.. he usually buckles under the pressure in the big races.. my Longshot for this particular race is It's My Show.. he will go off at a decent price and has a decent post and Linda will have him ready.

Agree on Stratton.   Not used to the big stage for the most part.   tmbz1
