Northfield judges
« on: October 15, 2024, 06:28:31 PM »
Saturday Oct  12, race 4, $300k 2yr colt trot.  The eight horse finishes 3rd but placed 5th for breaking a few strides before wire and moved 2 fifth when no other trailing horse lapped on. Bad call and big loss for owner.

Didn’t bring horse to proper gait  and failed to lose ground.  Close but it could go either way.

A few strides before wire? He was breaking halfway down the stretch.
