Mohawk Thanksgiving Monday
« on: October 14, 2024, 05:19:27 PM »
Race#1-#10 OH BROTHER 5-1 ML Tough betting one off the shelf from the outside, but his recent qualifier merits a bet on him. Roy gets the drive as Fillion must be having poutine with family on Thanksgiving Day. Can’t take a short price, gotta be 4-1 +.

Race#4-#5 LOOKS LIKE MONI 5-1 ML The last quarter speed is there, the results have not been there. Three straight taking off the game, assume tactics have to be changed up tonight, wide open event need a price.

Race#5-#2 KEYSTONE DORAL 4-1 ML Draws way inside his main competition tonight, HES SWIFT, been an ATM lately, assume he folds up shot late tonight & I can’t bet ZERON’s Who hasn’t won all year. Demers pupil will have lower odds then last week but like him best in here tonight.

Best of luck!  tmbz1

I believe we have seen the last of Sylvain for a long while.

Which seems quite abrupt. Though I surely don't have my ear to the ground on Ontario racing.

There was another thread: 'Did you hear what he said?'.. Filion said just that apparently in post race interview.

I did hear that. I didn't know if that was the first mention of it or if this had been brewing for a while. I know he isn't exactly a young guy anymore.

Good chance sounds like he has taken the winter snowbird play.
April return??
If he's healthy, and doesn't fall for retirement, then he'll enjoy the 'Pompano weather.' like so many others

(Canadians can't go longer than a few months..health coverage hangs in balance and every Canadian knows that)

yes , nice pick but again another winner getting hammered late
he was 5.1 as gate assembled them
tough to get a price at mohawk other than a race that goes way off form
moni a tough play at those odds off the last few lines
