A quick question about Northfield

I have to ask question. I'm watching the races from Northfield tonight. Why is Kurt Sugg not on any horses in the big races? I know he gets some wins at Northfield, yet I rarely see him drive in "big races" there. Any particular reason for this?

Although he's more than capable of winning, in my opinion the owners and trainers tend to go with the better drivers in the big races, but this happens to other 2nd and 3rd level drivers at other tracks on their big nights.

Kurt is still a good driver . Doesn’t get the power of some of the leading guys there and still does a good job with the next tier down of horses. Most of the bigger stakes races are full of southern Ohio horses where they want their own guys driving rather than someone from up here .

Thank you for the advise LUCPARK, and Calhoun for adjusting my meds. Starting tomorrow all grudges squashed, as promised. I will not post anywhere other than the live action thread in the t-bred section for 1 month. There or PM, for 1 month!
