Makes a break in stretch then tries to hock slide the horse in last 1/8th of a mile and wipe everyone out.

What they heck are they looking at?  He went off stride and was inside the pylons.  Sit him to last and DQ him and move the fuck on.

Close to a 25-minute inquiry for an obvious violation of the breaking rule.

I'm waiting for the replay to be on Twinspires. Todd is a top driver who I would give the benefit of doubt to.

His horse also broke on the lead in the stretch last time. When that happens, your main concern is not to cause an accident.

Tell me how he's supposed to stay out of everyone's way, he had nowhere to go.

Instead of grabbing you smack his ass and let him run through the wire and then you stay out of everyones way.

Maybe use the passing lane? Isn't that what it is there for? He cost Zeron 2nd money & could have caused an accident by pulling up so fast while staying on the racing surface.

Poor Scott Zeron!! Just watched the replay again. As soon as the horse broke he looked to his left to see if he had clearance and moved over past the pylons. Zeron's horse was barely compromised, it may have cost him second, but McCarthy did everything he could to get out of the way.

Everything except go into the safety lane & stay there until it was safe to return to the track.
