Winners Bet

Can't understand why Winners Bet is running in the 1st race at Red Mile today in an Open Handicap for a $13,500 purse when he could run in the Allerage Farm Open Trot on Sunday for $150,000?

Because he can't get Lasix in the Allerage since it's a stake race.  He bleeds out both nostrils without his Lasix and extra goodies.

Is that just in Kentucky because when he won the Charlie Hill at Scioto Downs, he used lasix?
