5 hours saturday to run 12 races. nothing like a little drag.            when are maine horsemen going to start complaining about the needlessly long days at cumby.         just as they did before topsham, cumby raced as many races as possible. now this week, fryeberg the major fair, 9 races tuesday and thursday and short fields. not long ago the burg was 10 races 8 horses in each all 6 days.     i dont buy what cumby is selling.  im glad i retired as a horseman and visit maine only in the summer. wish racing had a sot to thrive again in my home state.
good luck to everyone at fryeburg. not much worth betting tomorrow. i will stomach some more fair food and watch.     i also hope the burg moves races along. anyone that believes more than a minute drag is helpful is just a fool. any track i watch i know when to bet. draging the day just pisses the real gamblers off.
