I watched them yesterday. The announcer gives an amazing # of handicapping stats. He sure must put in a lot of time watching replays. I bet his first 4 race selections. I lost them all. Shut off the volume and picked my own. I won the next 3 of 4. .  I'll watch it today with no volume.

That announcer is the one and only !!! That’s Scott Ehrlich. When he is on he is ON.  When he’s having a bad day he’s like the rest of us. He will never ever not tell you everything you need to know.  Almost too much info.

i agree he puts in his homework but i never trust any public handicapper especially at a track with little handle. racing very formful at cumby this week. next week off to the burg. best luck to all.

Earlick is too much, breaking down races into sixteenths.  Race analysis can be helpful but the minutiae details is over the top.  He must love to listen to himself talk.  His race calls are excellent, so can’t complain too much.

With ScottE you gotta pick and choose what you’re gonna listen to.  Some of his angles can be very helpful, others not so much.

No racing today.  Cancelled—too much rain for Cumby’s “all-weather” surface!

It was treated 2 weeks ago with special materials to allow for November and December winter racing when temps go below freezing. Material is Imported from Sweden. They never cancel and their winters are brutal. The material takes time to settle in.

I never witnessed this myself but rumor on the streets is Scott does all his race calls without pants. I find that kind of strange if true.  But he does wear shoes and socks.

I don't know Scott well, but I have seen him wear pants.   ;D  Going all the way back to Barn To Wire when he was calling in Chicago, Scott has been a polarizing figure.  Many love his race calls.  Others feel he delivers a bit too much minutiae .  I love him!   tmbz1

But does he wear them in the announcers booth? My sources say he does not.

The image of Scott sans trousers is too painful to imagine.  The few times I saw him in the booth he was fully dressed.  But that was years ago and living in Californication now may have influenced his behaviour.

if he talked less maybe they could run the races faster. 24-25 mins inbetween is way too much. i can only hit the midway for so much food. making it a boring day at the fair.

After a week straight of fair food in Delaware,, I don't know if my stomach could handle much more. Post drag is definitely a problem at almost every track. The Meadowlands will show 0 minutes to post for 5 minutes minimum. Watch Lexington today they drag alot as well
