Look at this posting for Onion Gum. Was good at 2 and 3 and will do well at any track. Well he’s 4 now and they’ve tried him at 3 tracks and horse isn’t earning much. Stay away from these liars!!

I don’t like him but maybe cheaper track would help. Him personally too many flags.

Maybe, but he’s already going down the class ladder and writing that he’s a $300,000 yearling doesn’t mean shit

Going from Lucas Wallin last year to Dennis Laterza speaks volumes.
They paid $50k at Harrisburg last November, ouch!

They should stick to the gassed up claimers.

Another posting for these connections. Brent Holland drove the horse 2 races back like he gambled the rent money on him in a race he had no business leaving. Now they list him for $5,000. What a joke.

When I see the $300,000 yearling selling for $10,000 as a racehorse, and part of the statement is "Was a $300,000 yearling".....I kind of chuckle, on the inside, LOL. All that tells me is that the horse was a good looking yearling. What they paid for him means zero now as he's a $10k horse, or whatever he sells for. I guess knowing you are getting a good looking horse (assuming he's still good looking) might tell you something or be important to you.

About 30 years ago, when George Sholty was training for Armstrong Brothers, they had some horses for sale over the winter. Glenn Brown was at Pompano one morning and some agent asked him about a particular colt that was for sale. Glenn said they "got him back" at $75,000 to which Sholty said, you should have taken that then, cause he ain't worth anywhere near half of that today.....who cares what he sold for, you pay what he's doing today. Buzzy was working for his dad at the time and he was kind of shocked his dad said that. It was pretty funny.

If it's a filly, worth a look if you're a breeder. Otherwise..yeah, they're just cementing the knowledge that you're buying someone's bad decision ;D
