I just read all horses walked off the track. So guess the Burke horse didn’t break down (or at least didn’t snap a leg).

Correct, this is posted on twitter

https://x.com/SciotoRacing

n accident occurred during tonight's 13th race. Drivers Tony Hall, Sam Widger & Jeremy Smith were taken to local hospitals. The other drivers & all the horses walked off the track. An update will be provided when possible. The final three races of the card were cancelled.

Found these updates on Facebook.

Tony Hall has suffered multiple breaks in his hip socket and will be sidelined until sometime this fall after having surgery coming this week.

Sam Widger surgery tomorrow on wrist.

Jeremy Smith nothing broken, very sore.

Thanks, I hadn't seen the update on Jeremy yet.

A lot accidents lately. Keep giving these crippled horses drugs so they can’t feel the pain and down they go. Watched Burke’s horses for years now. Can’t walk but they go in 49 and eventually this is the result

While I agree with your general sentiment, this horse didn't appear to fall due to injury/lameness.

There is no way to know but the horse missed a full year and was dropped in for a tag second start back for 20.  if he dropped a hobble then that wasn't the issue.

Tony Hall is a wreck magnet. Not saying it's his fault but damn seems like he is in them and always gets the worst of it.

anyone heard from GD Western Joe? He "walked off the track". I'm sure he's fine.
