Thursday at the Monti - Chello
« on: May 23, 2024, 11:22:34 AM »
Race 3     #4           Nihilated Truth - Not a huge fan of the horse but felt sorry as he got away back and when he
started to move forward, Silvestri would pull a horse with no pace in front of him and he
                                    got stopped twice...

Race 4     #4           Park Official -- was making a solid three wide move and horse in front and he lost momentum
going even wider, regained composure and was solid down the lane.

Race 5     #6           Pike Rock -  very odd race, horse had his head cocked inside hard and would slow down,
straighten up and pace on and do again. Maybe they had the headpole on the wrong
( needed one on the outside ) or maybe a murphy blind

Race 7      #3          Constntlysideways  --  Raced with little effort given. Downside switched from Aldrich to Rossi

Yonkers

Race 7       #5         Flash Swan --- Amateur event.  Last week he left well and the driver tapped him with the whip
and Swan jumped straight up in the air... The race wasn't fast - but he made up a lot of
ground  and past a couple in stretch..... Rail horse will be real tough to beat.

Race 1 recap  2 win for fun. ! horrible.  What was interesting was the way #8 was steered to the outside after being parked the 1/2 so horses would not have to go 3 wide around him. Nice to have friend like Taggert

I passed on the pk 5 --- first race looked like the deuce --- but he had 3 straight off the board finishes in this class..
but - put them on the lead and roll on.

Recap race 3  Amazing how Tommy Merton finds speed from the rail at 24-1 to fuck up a race.

If he was 1-9 he would let 4 horses go out of the gate.

Race 4
#1  Sowers does well with his spa shippers

#6 Wind Blast,,,speedy..positive barn change

p3  16/34/1

Good luck on the p3 dink

seriously
