Nance was crazy, but funny crazy, he made you laugh.  His “ass cancer” was much better than the vitriol found on the forum today.  Five bucks, five bucks for being told to basically wheel the field to win a bet.  Today, Horseplop kind of light the U.S. in general, two sides, neither totally right wanting to fight to the death.  Nance, John Frank, the guy with the pics….just like the sport mostly in the past.

Didn't he turn out to be a website tout? Wasn't he selling his selections on a website for like $5 or $10? The part about boxing 4 horses I heard about. $5 or $10 for what? Program selections and boxing them? Someone told me he claimed he was being hired as Brett Pelling's second trainer (before Brett left the US). Wasn't his brother some quasi bloodstock agent looking to peddle horses?

Really?!?! And he had customers? Not repeat customers of course, at least not with that "system" (LOL).

I think I remember, years ago, Scott coming to the Meadowlands and peddling some supplements or something. He was also trying to sell some horses which is why I thought I remember him being a quasi agent.

The guy with the pics was Proharness.

That ongoing war between Proharness and Brena was hilarious and that pic of Brena with that rabbit was a classic.

I thought the Bilach - Vera vs Linda saga was classic, as well as the pepsi cam  not to forget the day the pepsi machine was vandalized shortly after a barage of posts at Showplace Farm

JOHN FRANK ARMY IS THE ONLY ONE LEFT WHO ISNT BANDED OUT OF ALL OF THE ORIGINAL GUYS. THEY WERE CLASSIC THO AND HORSEPLOP WAS ENTERTAINING BACK THEN TO SAY THE LEAST. THOSE GUYS NEVER HELD BACK FROM ANYONE.

(2) DAN NANCE was always the KING OF POSTIN. And might ADD. REAL NAME and even his brother SCOTT contributed with REAL NAME. No one could ever outdo DAN when it came to postin.
(3) UNCLE. I KNOWS you don't I. Back a while. You one of 2 JOE'S. We met several times. RETIRED yet..
(4) SO's you all know. There is several that still post at times on plop from back in day. They never used real name back then and today.
(5) and their are oyhers that been around since beginnin. Lest we forget the "GREAT PIGLAND".JUICE JUNKIES. although I'M not sure if he postin from some PRISON LIBRARY, and as much as I hate to say it: THE PUKE.

Man there were some great Friday nights, like the night Dan claimed his $50 exacta box calling everyone shit bags and wishing ass cancer --- then --- his $50 exacta was almost double the pool.... Craziness ensued and the Admin was contacting many via Direct message bagging everyone to stop --- DN was blowing up his phone.
