It's over already??? How the hell is anyone supposed to pay bills both at home and for the barn? The horsemen are pickled to say the least! Too bad they have so much brick there because the grandstand needs to be a pile of ashes!

Accident in first turn. Two ambulances on track. Warren was the driver of the 10 that was involved. Just came back to my computer and did not see the accident happen. But they are running the 11th so both ambulances couldn't have gone to the hospital.

Warren jumped up pretty quick and drove the 11th. Gary Rath looked like he went down pretty hard.

Then in the 11th, Leonard and Avenatti lock wheels in the first turn. No one went down but Chicago is nothing but a demolition derby with hobbled nags and cowboys.

That's too bad. Rath is an old Wisconsin veteran. Good guy. He's too old to be bouncing off the track.

I was at the track tonight and am completely disgusted by how Hawthorne handled this accident

Race should’ve been called off 10 seconds after it happened. They ran the ENTIRE RACE with a dead horse, two ambulances, an injured driver, and 10-15 people sprawled across the entire width of the track 100 yards past the finish line. The loose horse in the field nearly ran over a guy before dashing through the infield, thank goodness.

Could’ve been a complete disaster. Just to call the race a no contest afterwards (correct decision).

Rath might be a good guy but he sure wasn’t doing his horse any favors the way he was flopping around first over-

Can't find a replay of the race. Race cancelled per USTA. Probably will never have one.
