The best of all time George"the king"Anthony

That's a joke right? He can now be heard at the Teletheatre at the Meds screaming for 2-5 shots.

Roger Huston POS

He definitely was arrogant. I met him in the 90's and gave him a compliment and he snubbed his nose at me like he was Thurston Howell the 3rd.

Gil LeVine was funny! He had some great calls like "Cooking up a wicked brew" "Put a ring around Goose Filter!"  Those were old SPK days!!

My favorite harness announcer was Frank Salive. His voice is amazing with a perfect cadence. In US Sam Mckee was the best in my opinion. I loved his enthusiasm & he saw horses coming from everywhere.

I remember him calling some races at YR back in the mid 90's. He was colorful in his calls and announcements, but I wouldn't rate him in the same category as Jack E Lee.
Some of GA's favorites back then, at 2 minutes to post "just 2 what you gonna' do?" at zero minutes to post, " its post time better hurry".
Does he still call races at Ocean City?

PS - I saw him often hanging out with Hugo Iodice and Mike Sorrentino sr back in the day.
I remember one night at YR they were together on the apron, and I was standing right behind them. As the horses entered the stretch Mike Sorrentino jr took the lead and bling bling Santeramo took 2nd and Sorrentino sr told the other 2, "get the wheelbarrow". I guess they made a big score.

Since you were so close with GA maybe you can answer the question the whole harness world wants the answer to besides the question of whether or not Drucker's hair is a wig.
Does GA dye his hair or is that shoe polish??

WTF has Roger ever done for this sport. It's all about him, he has made a very nice living off us. All the extra cash, tapes & videos he never does anything m without being paid never met a free meal he din't take. Slobbered all over any woman that would get near him. He should donate his never going behind the mike again to all horseman and bettors.
