Mohawk Friday
« on: January 26, 2024, 01:09:37 PM »
Race#4-#1 BETTER BE DONNA N 3-1 ML Plummets down to the bottom of the condition ladder & it appears to be a much weaker field then it generally is. Absolutely hate the rail at Mohawk, but expect JD to leave out, looks the best in here.

Race#5-#5 ERINWOOD BIGRIG 7-2 ML Solid qualifier after lots of downtime. In way easier then what he raced against last summer. Expecting a big effort off the shelf in here tonight.

Race#8-#3 OVERKILL HALL 8-1 Drops in with the bottom feeders tonight, has been offering up dreary efforts the last month, better then current form. Looking for a form reversal tonight in with this bunch.

Race#9-#2 HUNTRESS 4-1 ML ***BEST BET*** Roy’s choice in here tonight, was taken off the wings last week, expect LPR to blast off the wings tonight to set up being on front or a pocket trip. Her & #7 just went qualifying type miles last week, expect bigger efforts tonight.

Have to monitor track conditions with Western Fair already cancelling!

Best of luck  tmbz1

He's younger but similar to me as far as wagering to the greek. Live drives but seldom does it equate to wins.

I don’t mind Young on a trotter, can’t see him ever ending up near what the Greek did, had a long prosperous run  but it’s been over for awhile!

Wasn't comparing their careers, just my confidence in betting them.

I agree with you on that one. Hard when you really like one in a race but it’s driven by Hudon, Greek, Young, Paul Mac ….

I can add Drury and Sorrie [has really fallen off, especially since Borth came on the scene] to that list.

Young scores at 1/5 ..I actually had to use him there and on the 8 in the 5th[ Tricky Mc Wicky] Just raced him to get a start in him last week. Certainly not a single though.
