Mohawk Thursday
« on: January 18, 2024, 04:54:57 PM »
Race#5-#10 STAY SPECIAL 5-1 Decent qualifier, draws outside, this stable will try to win in maidens unlike most.

Race#7-#5 DEL DIGGITY 4-1 ML ***BEST BET*** Debuts for Smith , picks up McNair. Made up lots of ground last two starts at Mohawk, won’t be a mile back at the half tonight.

Race#8-#7 SHAKEITIFYOUGOTIT 7-2 ML Returns to Auciello barn off the claim, very consistent with this group of mares. Race is lacking gate speed so shouldn’t be used up at quart mile marker tonight.

Race#10-#2 MISS DEW WRITE 7-2 ML Debuts for the Moreau barn, who’s been white hot the last week. Picks up James to drive, adds lasix, expect this one to be driven with a purpose tonight.

Best of luck!  tmbz1

Super pickup.  James gave Anthony's horse a perfect drive; just the kind a bettor wants to see.  Horse was a bit "gimpy" near the wire, but got the job done at a healthy price.

  • Calhoun: Thx I'm leaning to the 5 there.  Those CD/GP full field races look the best on the page. 1/2 length from being a G3 winner.
