Love the fact this dude bought a yearling named Catch a Thief.

Catch A Thief (International Moni - Legal Lady) led the only field of freshman trotters through panels in :31.4, 1:03.3 and 1:34.1 before crossing the wire 5-3/4 lengths in front in 2:03.2. Louis-Philippe Roy was in the bike for trainer Amanda Fine and owner Steve Heimbecker.

I smell investigation for hidden ownership on these horses,  And you knew the guy wasn't too sharp when he hired two inexperienced trainers.

Inexperienced trainers??  Lmaof. Amanda is Marty Fine using his daughter’s name as trainer. He ain’t inexperienced at pre race

Marty never could actually train a horse. Don’t have to know much to buy or claim an old racehorse and pump it full of juice. Even though our horses are much more athletic these days you still gotta know how to condition and rig young ones if they are going to last long

It is funny how owners who have lots of money can have horsemen rip them off left and right.  My family were victims of this.  We knew the guy was getting us a bit on bills but after getting a miscellaneous bill of 500 per month on six horses we confronted guy.   Shipping costs were extremely high as well.  The Fines were in paradise with this owner.  Wonder if they are still chums?

Sorry my man. Your family were not victims. They were obviously looking for an easy ROI and did no research on the trainer. I can’t tell you how many owners have cried too me about getting ripped off by a trainer only too move their horses to another known ripoff artist
