Mohawk Monday Night
« on: October 30, 2023, 09:57:58 AM »
Race#2-#7 WARRAWEE YES 9-2 ML She got stung last week past the quarter pole & never had much left at the wire, has raced stakes fillies, speed is comparable in here, James needs to map out a trip.

Race#3-#6 GOING FAST 5-2 ML ***BEST BET*** Only one victory this year, Low % trainer but faces the bottom feeders today, severe lack of gate speed in here & has a major advantage in the silky with Day driving.

Race#7-#9 MIKEY MASS 6-1 ML Has been the victim of some rough trips lately. McNair will take the money fresh off a new mark but is way up in class. I’d Drury can work out a trip, I think he comes through at a price.

Race#12-#1 MACHIN A TRICK 2-1 ML Will be at the back of the bus early & needs to sweep them late in the 7 wide path. Needs some fractions early, most of the early speed is outside so it should work out for McClure to get up late.

Best of luck!  tmbz1

Good luck Whip. I hear you are a very good handicapper. Wish I had an interest in Canadian tracks but I have my hands full at the Stateside minor league tracks.

Tough race there the ladies AMATEUR drivers. Looked a little odd to me but then all these amateur races do.

Horse that won at 24-1 had never shown remotely any leaving speed but got on the engine tonight.  Would think a driver like nday would have appreciated the value of a little speed away from the gate there rather than taking back but i find all these races suspect.

Good luck. 5 9 are the ones under $900 for 2 dimes. Frankly there not bad payoffs since a 1/9 won first, and very logical horses won 2 and 4th. Even the chalky 5 is $254. Hope a big one hits!

Thanks, go bet Filion here, he is my kryptonite. If I need him he drives like he is drunk and when I don't want him to win he drives like a champ.

Nice race there. Im a big fan of high quality mohawk trotters. Gutsy call by roezma there at the wire and accurate.

I used oney hall who in mid stretch i thought was very live but we all know pemberton can trot some wicked final quarters. And wasnt amigo hall game tonight.

Mohawk has a few aces in their hand and their trotting community is one of them
