A 12 year old knows how to not overdue it or he would have broke down by that age.

Hinsdale and the NH/Vt fair circuit - we would race em every 3 or 4 days with maybe a week in between once for the whole Summer.

I would've raced him four times in ten days these things aren't pets they are investments treat them as such and when they can't race turn them into food or glue

I’ve seen 2 year olds race more often  that. Sometimes every other day and ship 200 miles on the off day and that was in mid summer heat.   I once saw where a horse raced 4 times in 8 days. As I recall some were 2 heats. The horse dropped dead on the track the last time.
I wrote the USTA suggesting there be a rule on how many heats a horse could race in a given period.  Had PETA seen that there would have been repercussions.
Their reply was “Standardbreds are known for their durability”.

Rhoades and Clegg aren't horsemen , not even managers they're just Allard minions that know how to tube and give epo or whatever the new ped of choice is. Rhoades probably amishes more horses a year then most Stables race. But give yourself a pat on the back you pair of blowhard morons
