Eating Bon Bons
« on: October 16, 2023, 08:43:20 PM »
Joey B wins 4 out of the first 5 at glorious YR, including the open at 35-1. Some nasty looking jawing  and side eye- ing going on BEFORE the race was over approaching the wire between Kakaley and Bongiorno. Clearly visible on stretch replay.

Quite possible - as Joey scoots inside, kakaley glares at him and says something starting with the word FUCK

Don't understand why the argument if true? They are both trying to win, right? Did anyone interfere with the other?

Nope  line up right outta the gate. kakaley opened up and looked a sure winner. Horse got spaghetti legs 100 yards out, Joey scooted inside.   On that instant close up stretch replay right after the live race, you could clearly see some bad blood. Good camera work.

But why be mad at another driver for trying and winning. I can see being mad at yourself for not winning.

At first when Kakaley grimaced and said Fuck, I thought he was mad at himself too, but then Joey spun his head around and started yelling back and they both looked mad. Yards before the wire. Who knows...

I believe the connections of the second place horse Backstreet Shadow, used to have the winner, American Mercury.

Actually, I am a moron and wrong about him. The horse I was thinking about was American Courage. American Mercury used to be trained by none other than prisoner Chris Oakes and owned by the Crawfords. He won the Messenger at 3. Sorry for the mistake. I have halfzheimers which is alzheimers half of the time.
