Mohawk Monday
« on: October 09, 2023, 06:42:01 PM »
Race#2-#9 THE BOSS SAID 4-1 ML First start was sharp off of multiple qualifiers, not a lot of gate speed but Fillion should be getting off the gate some.

Race#6-#7 PATRIARCH HANOVER 3-1 ML Should be blasting off the wings in here, might set up 6/7 at the 1/4 poll, like him best in here.

Race#8-#3 HAIL CHRISTIAN N 3-1 ML Will go off at bigger odds then ML assessment, looks like plenty of pace to chase in here, he does his best work late in the mile.

Race#10-#7 LYONS KING 4-1 ML ***BEST BET*** Stellar  effort in his latest, Borth will be much more aggressive tonight off the wings, forwardly placed, wide open event.

5th. #10 Clever Character, My pick 5 single despite the post. Sharp as a tack right now and can handle a big track. Not much to beat in here and gets J-Mac.

  • Bitter Truth: That Golden Tempo , I'm afraid is  a money burner. Gets so far back. Was in range but just hung and raced even in the stretch. Didn't see a Derby winner in there in my opinion.

  • dougie: He got good tactical speed. I really thpught he had a big shot to pull it off.

  • Trigger: If Pavlovian can rate a bit, maybe he wins the derby.  Nice horse  tmbz1

  • Trigger: I thought BT & I had a real good shot w/ a 110 4/5, wide but nice momentum, and then a sharp left turn mid stretch ended that  ngc3
