OK. Some years ago my good friend was a marketin research expert. He had a close friend that worked with him. His buddy decided that there a better way to make moola. He moved to colorado and bought some remote acreas in the mountains. HE grew pot. So's one day he comes back to CHICAGO and wanted to wash $100.00 bills. He asked me buddy to help him. This was the PLAN. Go to track and all different OTB'S and make bets on different races for a hondo each about 10 minutes before each race. They was usin machines. Then with about 5 minutes to post go and cancel the bet and get a $100.00 voucher. At ARLINGTON race course this was easy as you had about 80 different tellers. But they did it for 2 days and ARLINGTON got wise and had them on camera. So on a MONDAY at downstaires trackside bar I'm sittin with me bud. In walks FBI, STATE POLICE and ARLINGTON HEIGHTS POLICE. They takes me bud away. They question me and say you know him. I say's never met him. Just enjoyin a brew and he happened to be sittin next to me. 2 days later me bud MATT shows uo at bar. I says what happened. He goes: I LIED MY WAY OUT OF EVERYTHING. END OF STORY.

I will make laundering money easy to understand..happe ns with sports betting alot...like tonight bears vs Washington..you come in and bet 110 k on Washington minds points to win 100 k..you also bet 110k on bears to win 100k...so on the bet you lose 10k....but you now can take the winning 100k and but it in bank....how did you get it...I won on game...money is now clean...

I've been audited alot, they always want to know where your original bet came from. If you can't claim where it was originating from TROUBLE TROUBLE TROUBLE, and you are the one responsible for providing a clean money trail.

Respectfully, i dont see how your plan works so "easily" because ultimately you have to explain where the intial seed money came from, plus those kinds of wagers at a sportsbook immediately puts you on the radar of the casino and a half dozen more agencies including, NFL and MLB police/security.
Money laundering is usually done with dummy corporations. Still, you may be right   this may be a form of that

Appreciate all the feedback but I don't think laundering at Monti is in the cards here. Handle way too low.

Now there has been some board manipulation going on. Today at the meadows for instance in race 7 1,000 was in the win pool on two horses that had no shot. Came out just before post time.

I am thinking at Monti today it was likely Chindano telling a friend he felt he was live today. And you know how the telephone game works.

This is he did not have a horse with a shot. But he may very well be a bad handicapper. I just hope they keep it up next week.

There has also been a slew of really bad favorites in PA this week. Almost like someone hit the lottery and knows nothing about harness racing and is sending it in.

Who knows. I just hope it keeps up

If you are smart there is no reason to launder money unless you are talking millions and you want to invest it in the stock market.

Lets just say I know a guy who knows a guy and he told me the best way to launder money is through car dealerships. That is all I am saying about that.

That's what I was saying about Michael Franzese. Lotsa mob affiliated dealerships in the Metro Ny area.

It goes on at the Meadowlands. Couple of those guys in the 1st floor teletheatre are obviously money laundering.

Well money laundering is by its very description when you make bad money good, like when a caporegime like Michael Franzese owned several legitimate and profitable car dealerships and restaurants. Seems bizarre to make big best in racing into small pools to "launder money", doesn't it? I guess anything is possible.

Im with you, odd (though guess possible) way to launder money. Could be the three stooges mob family. I heard about that nyc mob family. Theres the gambinos, luchesses,  genovese, colombos and bonnanos. Those are the infamous and justifiably feared nyc renowned families. Theres also a little known deranged wannaba 6th family - the three stooges. This could be that group's attempt at laundering $. Nyuk nyuk nyuk..Certainly.
